Master artists are inquisitive and confident; you can tell because they attend each other’s workshops! Booth Malone, Signature Artist and President of the American Academy of Equine Art took Patricia Rice’s workshop, Painting on Copper. Then Patty took Booth’s class on Equine Art, working on Copper. Sam Robinson, recent winner of the highest prize the AAEA offers also showed up for Booth’s workshop, driving all the way from Maryland. He gave us all a brief tutorial on painting with gouache.
